During our trip to Alabama to visit my best friend Claire and her hubby, we got to shoot a family session for one of my old friends John Michael!
We went to Elementary School, Middle School, and one year of High School together before I moved to Florida with my family. John Michael was one of my best friends growing up and even came to visit me and my family after we moved away! He was known for being goofy and hilarious when we went to school together and when I got to meet his wife and their adorable daughter, I saw that he was the same ole’ John Michael I remember! Cracking jokes with his wife Sierra and making faces at her and his daughter!
I also got to meet his mother-in-law, father-in-law and sister-in-law! I’m so glad we got to take photos for their whole family! The weekend we were visiting, it was chilly and wet outside! I’m pretty sure it was the coldest temperatures that Liam has ever been in since Florida has no signs of winter! 😉 It was also Liam’s first time ever seeing a horse! It was the cutest thing! Despite the cold and rain, we went forward with their session and I promised them that the photos would still turn out beautiful, and they did!
The location we shot in was unique and perfect! The first spot had a bunch of buildings with different color walls [I forget what the place was actually called] and the second location had a beautiful barn complete with a very friendly horse standing at the fence! One of my top favorites from this year is in this bunch of favorites, I’m sure you’ll be able to pick it out!
I’ll just say, look for the horse smiling on que! I hope you all enjoy my favorites and have a happy new year!
