Mr + Mrs Patton | Barrington Hill Wedding | Dade City

Tyler and Heather’s day was simply magical.

Tyler and Heather had been dating 6 months when Tyler went home from work “not feeling well”. Heather went home from work like any other day, only to open her door to find Tyler, all dressed up, standing in the middle of her living room with rose petals spread across the floor. The song they later walked down the isle to was playing in the background as he got down on one knee and asked her to Marry him! While holding Milo (her pup) she gave him the answer that would change their lives forever, “Yeah, yes yes yes!!”

Now, Before we get into the details of their wedding day, I would like to explain a little bit about my experience with them! Tyler and Jon were work friends, so Tyler was actually the one to send me an inquiry on my website which is EXTREMELY RARE! I honestly don’t remember the last time a groom inquired for a wedding quote. I’m so thankful he did, as soon as we started talking, he included Heather on the e-mail thread and then her and I e-mailed back and fourth up until their wedding day!

Heather is such a planner and she included me on any questions she had, she typed up the day of schedule before I even had a chance to, completed all lists that I asked of her way ahead of my expectation and she was the SWEETEST! (Not to mention her baking skills that she proved to us when she gave us a bag of cookies to take home after their engagement session that I still have yet to blog!) She was a complete ideal bride and more…like literally made my job, CAKE.

Jon and I are so thankful to have had the honor of photographing their wedding. The Venue they choose was Barrington Hill Farm, a venue I hadn’t photographed before. Barrington Hill is stunning and it was the perfect backdrop for their special day. Tyler, Heather and their bridal party looked like they walked straight out of a J.Crew wedding magazine, Heather’s bouquet was a dream, her bridesmaids wore gold sequined dresses while the reception was dressed in peach, gold and blush tones! They had a cookie bar (very fitting!) a smore’s station by the bonfire (which was SO needed that night!! It got pretty cold out of no where!) and a photo booth with adorable Instax camera’s so family and friends could post a photo in their guest book and also take one home! Towards the end of the night they unburied the bourbon and a couple horse heads came out onto the dance floor, I will NEVER forget the horse heads. You’ll see what I’m talking about later in the blog post!

Heather and Tyler exited into their happily ever after through a long line of sparklers and stinking FIREWORKS!! Like I said before… it was absolutely magical!! We wish you two the best and can’t wait till we get to see you guys again! You both were a dream to work with!

HORSE HEADS!!!
