Brittany and Stephen’s wedding happened to fall on a weekend right after a hurricane.
We weren’t sure what the weather was going to be like the couple days up to the wedding. The wedding was supposed to mainly take place in the backyard but it ended up raining and setting back the ceremony a little bit. Yet, through the change of plans, everyone was calm and open minded. Brittany even said if they had to do the ceremony inside, she would embrace it and go with the flow.
Thankfully the rain let up in perfect timing for their ceremony!! A little rain wouldn’t stop this beautiful wedding. After the ceremony, we went straight to Philippe Park for bridal party and bride and groom photos! You would never know that it was dreary outside or humid with how great the bridal party looked! They were seriously amazing though it was hot and Britt and Stephen’s photos turned out beautiful!
We went back to the house and the DJ played their first dance song, parent dance songs and we heard speeches that touched every heart in the room. Afterwards, everyone was able to eat outside, even the sun decided to come out! They cut their cake (that was delicious) and then everyone mingled outside! It was a wonderful wedding day and Jon and I are so happy that would could share in telling the story of it through photos!
We hope you guys enjoy a bunch of our favorites!
Thank you to all the friends, family, and amazing vendors who helped make this day so beautiful!
