First, I’d like to start out by apologizing for my lack of blogging! I’ve been getting sessions finished rather quickly, but haven’t made time to post them. So I’ll start my blogging back up with my sweet cousin Josh!
Today, Josh graduated Countryside High School!! As his cousin, I would say he is one awesome dude. Two of his favorite things to do are playing his guitar & skateboarding. I was so excited to be able to incorporate both into his Senior Session! Our first location we shot was in Safety Harbor by the boat docks [which is also where Jon first asked me to be his girlfriend!] so it’s definitely a favorite spot of mine. The second one was at a nearby skate park that he goes to on a regular basis. Conveniently, when we got there, a train was going by so we took some photos there as well!
Now, I will tell you this, shooting in a skate park is…well, dangerous! So the whole time I was thinking, “Please don’t run into me, please don’t run into me, OMG!!, that was close!” etc. There were 5 or 6 other guys in there while I was shooting and people were flying through the air, skidding across the ground, falling off their boards and doing really cool tricks! Needless to say, I felt like a dare devil shooting in the middle of all that.
I hope you all enjoy the photos! Josh, thanks for being awesome and trusting me to take your Senior photos! Congratulations cousin!!
