If you haven’t seen Josh and Danielle’s Gender Reveal post yet, go look at it and then come back to this page! This is Part 2 of their Maternity Session! 🙂
They have a really cool story about an answered prayer that I wanted to share with you guys! Here’s it summed up from Danielle: “My Husband and I felt like there was a missing piece in our family that only a child’s love and laughter could fill. In April we prayed every night that if it was Gods will for us to have a baby He would graciously bless us with one. God must have big plans for our little Savannah as He answered our prayers that month!” -HOW AWESOME!!
Over the past few months, I’ve been able to hang out with this lovely couple and get to know their personalities and how they communicate with each other. Let me just say, they are HILARIOUS!! They always poke fun at each other and frequently use sarcasm [which keeps everyone laughing!!]. I very much enjoy being around them.
Jon and I have recently decided to try out different churches until we find one we both feel led to attend as our home church. This Sunday, my parents asked us to go to try out their new church, Seminole First Baptist. So we went and before the service started, we see Josh and Danielle walk in and sit a few rows in front of us! We had no idea that’s where they went so it was a great surprise to see them.
A few hours later, Jon and I met up with them for their Maternity Session! They brought their dog, Zoey to be in some pictures as well. She definitely added some craziness to the shoot! We were in the middle of taking pictures and she darted off and jumped in a pond that looked very swampy! She got all nasty and ran around almost getting everyone dirty. I couldn’t help but laugh a little. 🙂 Danielle said Zoey doesn’t like water, so she must have thought the swamp-pond was grass because she looked extremely surprised when she jumped in.
Despite that little surprise, the shoot went great and the pictures turned out beautiful! Here’s a few of my favorites. 🙂
LOVE THIS LIGHT!!! 😀
Zoey’s thinking, “I am sooo over these pictures!”
This…is the swampy-pond. And that, is Zoey’s mark she made when jumping in! haha, silly pup!
Normally, during a shoot, the guy gets shy and I play off of that and try to put them out of their comfort zone because 9 times out of 10, it makes them laugh! That is what happened here and it caused both of them to get the giggles. It made for some great pictures!
Danielle, you’re beautiful!
I can’t wait to see baby Savannah! Thank you guys for asking me to take your Maternity photos. I really enjoyed myself!
