Christina contacted me to take her and Mitch’s wedding photos after seeing two of her friends [Haley and Darrin] engagement session that I had the privilege of taking. I hadn’t met her before, but she seemed very sweet and personable! She even sent me a ‘Save The Date’ for their wedding, which in my opinion is so cool to get as their photographer! [Thanks Christina!!] After meeting with her at Starbucks, I knew we clicked well and I became more excited to photograph their wedding.
Mitch and Christina met in 2006 and have been dating almost 8 years!!! After dating for 5 1/2 years they got engaged December 2011! Mitch proposed at the same restaurant they met at in 06′, which I think is such a sweet idea! I know Christina was very excited for the wedding day to finally come!
Their wedding was at Mirror Lake Lyceum in St. Petersburg, which was gorgeous! I had Jon come and help me out with the flashes and set up. I normally don’t use much flash but because of the dim lighting, it was definitely necessary! So it turned out to be a great learning experience for me. One of the things being that I actually loved how the photos with two flashes turned out! [Normally you would never catch me saying that I like using flash!]
Christina made an absolutely gorgeous bride! These two are a wonderful couple and it was an privilege watching them interact as anyone could see the strong love they have for each other! I’m so thankful I was able to be a part of their special day!
