Last year, I had the privilege of capturing Caroline & Brendan’ wedding and this year I was able to capture some beautiful maternity images for this growing family!
Madeline is the name of their sweet little girl who was born June 4th at 10:56PM! 🙂 We shot this session in Safety Harbor on a really windy day! Funny story, a couple days before their session, Caroline asked what time they need to meet me, and I told her, “I normally shoot 2 hours before sunset! So 6:30!” [this is through a message, not over the phone]. Then the morning of the shoot, I get messages from her at 5:30AM saying they are about to leave and then a couple at 6:30AM saying they are at the location, and then a few more around 7-7:30AM asking if I was okay and then telling me they were going to run some errands.
When I woke up around 9AM, I saw all the messages and confused and then thought, OH NO!! They must have read sunrise instead of sunset! I messaged her and told her what I thought happened and sure enough, they thought the shoot was at 6:30AM! Luckily they were still able to come back to the location at 6:30PM that night. When we met up, we all had a good laugh about the mix up and we both agreed that it was simply a case of “baby brain.” It will get ya every time! All in all, the shoot went wonderful and it was great to see them again. I wish them and their growing family the best and can’t wait to see photos of sweet little Madeline!
I hope you all enjoy a bunch of my favorites from their session! 🙂
