This month, my friend Sara reached out to me about donating a family session to the Children’s Dream Fund, which is where she works. She helps make a bunch of children’s dreams come true! Sadly, these children are seriously ill and some of them have to live at a children’s center for the proper care they need.
There’s a little guy named Bentley who is 2 years old and his family hasn’t ever been able to purchase family photos. I got the opportunity to take pictures for them that I know they’ll cherish forever. A little history on Bentley: Four days after he was born, he was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy, a disease of the heart muscle, along with other complications. Although Bentley is on a ventilator and is non-verbal, he can still move his head a little and show a slight facial expression. He is currently living at the Sabal Palms Children’s Center where they are taking great care of him.
At the session I got to meet him and his sweet family and watch how they interact with each other. Bentley loves fish and rock music, which was played during some of the session! He kept bobbing his head back and forth which is his way of dancing! He had some pretty smooth moves. Bentley has such a sweet spirit and was just adorable! 🙂
I plan on going back to visit him soon and feel honored that I was able to give his family some very special memories! Thank you so much Sara for the opportunity! Here’s some of the photos from their very first family session!
This is Sara!
