Ally & I have known each other for several years now and met through our church high school group! She’s always been incredibly sweet, funny, genuine and has a heart for serving the Lord. So naturally, the man she is meant to marry has to be pretty awesome for things to work out in his favor. Matt, so excited that you and Ally found each other!!
This past November, Matt & Ally were visiting family in Indiana when he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. His sister took pictures of it and everything! [It’s so cool when that moment is saved in a picture for you!] She of course said yes and they are getting married October 11 of this year! 🙂 I am so happy that I got to take engagement pictures for another sweet friend of mine!
A week before the session, we met at Starbucks to figure out props and places to shoot that reflected their relationship. Starbucks just happened to be one of them and I figured..why not shoot part of the session at Starbucks?! I knew it would be super cute and I’ve never shot there before so the possibilities are endless! Plus, she had a really cute idea that involved writing on the cups. Since God is the focus of their relationship, they brought their bible and read scripture while cuddling up together [which I thought was AWESOME]. They both are pretty sporty individuals and enjoy spending time competing with each other but are fans of opposite teams. So they brought hoodies, a basketball and a soccer ball to represent that part of their relationship! We also shot at one of my favorite spots, the abandoned field with incredible light. 🙂
I am extremely anxious to share these photos with you all so I’ll let you get to scrolling! I hope you guys love these and cherish them forever! Jon and I had SO much fun with you two during the shoot. We wish you both the very best!
Yep. Ally was totally making fun of my prego-ness. 🙂
That is one gorgeous ring!! Good job Matt!!
Obviously, these are cups FULL of coffee 😉
